This is the first time since 1997 that this show has been brought out of storage, and the only date this year for this rare revival of “The Bear Flag Show,” a puppet drama of historic proportions: The story of the raising of the first California Bear Flag in 1846 is one of the more colorful and amusing tales of California’s past, and includes such historical characters as Gen. MG Vallejo, Kit Carson, John Fremont, Zeke Merritt, and the only president of the “country” of California, William Ide, along with a cast of settlers from Sacramento, Napa and Sonoma Valleys.

THIS SHOW WAS SELECTED TO BE PERFORMED AT THE STATE CAPITAL FOR CALIFORNIA'S SESQUICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION!

FROM THE AUDIENCES:

“Wow! Zowie! Bravo! Better and more wonderful each time I see you. You blew me away with the fullness of the show (Spanish language, music, humor, amazing artful backgrounds and props, movement, etc.)”

“Fresh, clever dialogue..."

“Fantastic puppets, props. Great enthusiasm. I really appreciated having a more well-rounded story that shows the Mexican and international heritage of this area! Can’t wait for your next show!”
