Benjie Nelson Puppets is an award winning traveling puppetry group based in the Bay Area. Shows are available for birthday parties, corporate events and more!
Benjie Nelson has been performing with his parents’ traveling theatre company, The Magical Moonshine Theatre, since he was two years old. To date, Benjie has performed in 14 foreign countries in Latin America, Asia and Europe.
Benjie is believed to be the youngest person ever to receive an UNIMA-USA Citation of Excellence in Puppetry. The UNI award “recognizes and rewards the best of the puppetry arts... and is awarded to shows that touch their audiences deeply; that totally engage, enchant and enthrall” ( www.UNIMA-USA.org, 2008).
